Bookings do get very busy, especially during the summer holidays – so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. This is especially true if you want a specific bouncy castle. If you decide to have a party on the spur of the moment, you can call us on the day as we may have availability, and will help if we can.
Please see the sizes /photos /prices page for all prices. Prices may vary depending on your location, especially if you are outside of our usual delivery area. (Please call for delivery rates). Each price is for day hire, regardless of how long you want the castle for. The work involved is the same for us whether you want it for a couple of hours or the whole day, and we cannot hire it out to anyone else on the same day. The weekend rate applies to Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays and the weekday rate is Monday to Friday.
All bouncy castle booking prices include drop off, set up, and collection within the local delivery area. Also included are a blower, extension cable, circuit breaker and safety crash mats. We will supply a rain-cover for outdoor parties. Where there is no power supply and the blower cannot be plugged in, we can hire you a petrol-fuelled blower for a small additional cost.
Most parties are in the afternoon, so we will deliver and set up your castle between 9am and 12 noon. We will then come and take the castle away after your party has finished, usually from 6pm onwards. If you would like different delivery and collection times these can be arranged to suit you. Our latest collection time is 8pm. If you would like to keep the inflatable after 8pm then an overnight charge can be agreed.
Yes, overnight hires on most inflatables are possible, subject to availabilty. This can be organised at the time of the booking by phone. Be aware that you will be responsible for the safe-keeping of the inflatable at all times, and may be liable to pay for any damage that occurs whilst you are in charge of the inflatable. it is best to check you are covered on your household insurance.
Cash on delivery is best. We do not accept credit card payments. If you want to pay by cheque, we’ll need to receive payment in sufficient time for the cheque to be deposited and funds to clear before the booking date. You can pay by BACs directly into our bank account – please check how quickly your bank transfers payment so you are sure the payment will reach us before your party.
Unfortunately the bouncy castles cannot be operated in very wet conditions due to safety reasons. Therefore if it is pouring with rain when the castle is due to be delivered it cannot be set up for safety reasons. However we always discuss this with you. If you already have the castle up and running and during the course of the day there is a light shower then most of our castles have rain covers. There are guidelines with regards to usage which will be explained on the day. Don’t forget you can always cancel without any charge if you change your mind because of the weather.
Generally, inflatables need to be set up on flat ground to be safe to use. However if there is a very slight slope it may be possible. You will need to discuss this prior to the booking – and please be sure to check any outdoor areas to make sure they are not going to be a problem.
The bouncy castles take approx 10 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire. We’ll always endeavour to be with you well in time to inflate your castle before the start of the event.
You will need to allow a minimum of 2 feet clear space around the castle for safety reasons. Please make sure all garden items such as garden toys, swings, slides, patio furniture, rubbish etc. are removed from the area where the castle is to be sited.
We supply all the hardware you will need for the castle, all you need to provide is a 240 volts mains power supply. (An ordinary plug socket.) If a mains supply is not available, we can hire you a petrol-powered blower for a small additional charge.
Generally yes, all our castles are suitable for children up to and including the age of 14. For older children or adults, hire one of our adult-proof inflatables – suitable for children too – but not at the same time!
All our inflatables are cleaned prior to you using them. If the inflatable gets dirty during your party, we will expect you to clean it up so the inflatable is in the same condition as you received it in.
We prefer a side entrance or rear access, due to the weight of the inflatables. But if you do not have that type of access to your party venue, contact us and we will try to suit your needs.
Sorry, no grown-ups, unless you have specifically ordered an inflatable suitable for adults. An adult using a kids’ bouncy castle is not approved under Health and Safety guidelines, and may invalidate any insurance – you will therefore be liable to pay for any damage that results, and injuries will not be covered.
Yes – £5,000,000 public liability insurance. Our insurance certificate is available to view upon request. Please note public liability insurance only covers Bump ‘n’ Jump for any negligence. It would not cover you, the hiree, for your negligence or any damage to the inflatable caused by you or your guests. If you have any questions regarding insurance please contact us.
